• Christmas events

  A group of our Y5/6 children took part in the Town Hall concert last week. They sang beautifully and the event was a real success. Thank you to the children and staff involved. We also took some children to Garforth Library to take part in a Christmas sing-along with the Garforth Ukelele Orchestra! Two of our Y6 boys are members of the ukelele group and impressed everyone with their skills and confidence on the instrument. It was a lovely event, with other community members also in attendance, including residents from Augustus Court.

  We have also had our annual pantomime, funded by the Friends of Strawberry Fields, this week. The children really enjoyed the performance of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'!

   

  

• Y6 football

  Our Y6 football team are through to the next round of the cup after a 2-0 win against St. Paul's Whinbrook. The goals were scored by Oliver and Harry, and our 'man-of-the-match' performance came from Taylor in midfield. Well done boys! The next game will be in February against West End Primary school.
