  • F2 Inspire

Wed 07 Dec 2016 Mr. Bradley

Last week we held ‘Inspire’ events for our F2 classes with the theme of ‘Challenge’. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who were able to attend and helped make these sessions so successful. As part of the session, we also gave parents helpful information about phonics and handwriting teaching.

We will host Inspire events for other classes throughout school after Christmas.

  • Year 3/4 dodgeball

Wed 07 Dec 2016 Mr. Bradley

On Monday 5th December twelve children from years 3 and 4 went to Garforth Academy to represent our school in a dodgeball tournament. We had two teams, ‘Strawberry Fields Pink’ and ‘Strawberry Fields Orange’. The tournament was a big success and the children performed really well. Out of six teams, our Orange team came second and our Pink team came third. Well done to everyone who played and congratulations to Green Lane who were the eventual winners (and the only team to finish above us!)
