Last week, we took 42 children to the Young Voices concert at Sheffield Arena, to sing along with lots of other children from other schools, as well as some professional musicians and dancers. It is a long day, with a three hour rehearsal, then a lunch break with lots of time to excitedly spot families as they arrive, followed by a truly wonderful two hour concert - in which we are performers as well as audience! The children were amazing - they worked so hard in the rehearsal and sang and danced their heart out in the concert! The staff had a great time too. Genuine Year Five quote: 'It was the best day of my life!'
We are already looking forward to next year - staff are queuing up to go!
