Welcome toStrawberry FieldsPrimary SchoolLearning Together, Building The Future

Wraparound Care and Holiday Club

At Strawberry Fields we offer a range of extended services for parents, including a breakfast club and an after school childcare club. Both clubs are staffed by employees of the school. We also offer childcare during school holidays at half-terms, Easter and summer.

Our wraparound care is managed by Miss Richards, who also works in school as an SEND Teaching Assistant.

In addition to providing childcare and meals, our breakfast club and after-school club ensure the children are cared for in a welcoming and stimulating environment. A wide range of toys and activities are always available and we pride ourselves that children are happy, safe and valued.

Our wraparound care clubs are based in the school hall and this is where children should be dropped off and collected from, via the rear hall doors on the Key Stage Two playground.

All food provided is served in accordance with the School Food Standards Regulations. A qualified first-aider is always onsite during all wrapround care provision.

If you wish to apply for a place in any of our wraparound care provisions, please contact the school office, who will be happy to provide you with an application form.

The school office can be contacted via email on: info@sfpsch.org.uk or via phone on: 0113 2320796.

As these clubs are provided under the direction of the Governing Body, it takes place outside school hours and is on the school premises, you are entitled to claim Childcare Tax Credits to help with the costs of this service.

Breakfast Club

For breakfast club, parents can choose for their child to start at either 7.30am (£5.00) or 8.00am (£3.00). These costs include breakfast. When breakfast club finishes, younger children are escorted to their classrooms by staff.

After-school Club

After-School Club runs during term time from 3.20pm to 5.30pm. Sessions cost £8.50. These costs include a snack and drink.

Children who are attending after-school club are taken to the hall by a staff member at the end of the school day.

Holiday Camp

Holiday camp runs during half-terms in October and February . We also run holiday clubs for a week during the Easter holiday and for four weeks in the summer.

Our holiday camps are always organised around a theme, such as ‘Around the World’, ‘Space’ and ‘High Energy’. Please see the newsletters below for more information. Holiday club provision is always augmented by external providers, such as African drumming workshops, dancing, a planetarium, a climbing wall, DJ workshops and bushcraft workshops.

Parents can book for whole weeks or individual days to suit their needs.

Holiday camp costs £25 per day from 9.00 – 4.00, with an additional hour available at the beginning and the end of the day for £5 each.

For parents who have children in holiday camp, the staff can be contacted directly via email on: holidaycamp@sfpsch.org.uk or phone on: 07712216742. Please use these contact details once your child is attending. Places should be booked via the school office in the first instance.
