The Friends of Strawberry Fields are a group of dedicated parents and carers who work with staff and governors in school to organise enrichment activities and fundraising events. These events are incredibly helpful to the school and are very much appreciated. Examples of some recent events which the FOSF have organised in the past year are:
- The Christmas Fair
- The Circus
- School discos
- Film nights
Money raised by the FOSF has helped to pay for:
- Updating interactive screens in classrooms
- A Christmas pantomime for all children in school
- A magician to visit school and give a magic show
- Many other things!
Currently, we are saving money so as to invest in a class set of iPads.
There is no maximum or minimum time commitment or skill-set required, but all help is appreciated - especially when big events like the fairs are coming up!
