Yesterday, our Year five and Six children travelled to the National Holocaust Memorial Museum in Newark as part of their topic learning about World War Two, and answering the question: 'How Did Hitler Convince An Entire Nation To Follow Him?'
The children understood it would not be a 'fun' trip, but an interesting and an important one. We were so proud of how respectful they were in the museum and memorial gardens, asking and answering questions sensibly and listening carefully to the speakers.
They have followed up the visit by producing artwork and poetry for our exhibition at Garforth Library, which will begin on Monday 27th January.
Thank you to the staff and volunteers at the museum for such an enriching and educational experience.
