On Friday 4th May, we were very lucky that the Tour de Yorkshire cycle race came past right outside our school. We went out as a whole school to watch the women's race in the morning. The atmosphere was really good, added to by the decorations along our school railings and lovely 'land-art' created by 1MM. We waved flags and rang bells as the cyclists and entourage raced past. Many children enjoyed the experience so much, they went out after school had finished to watch the men's race too!
