As usual, our sports teams have been in action this half term. We have already participated in a Y5/6 netball tournament. Although they did not win any games, the team's performances were greatly improved on last year.
Mr. Henshall took two teams to a rugby tournament at the end of April. There were seventeen teams, and despite missing key players through injury, one of our teams finished third, narrowly missing out on qualifying for the regional finals.
Finally, our Y3/4 boys (and 1 girl!) competed against other local schools in a football tournament this week. In four games, we managed to win one, draw one and lose two.
Most importantly, all the children chosen for the sports teams have represented Strawberry Fields well and we have proud of each and every one of them every time. Well done!
