It was lovely to be able to take some of our Key Stage 1 choir members to St Armand's Court today. The children have been working really hard on Wednesday lunchtimes to learn the songs. It was an extra challenge for them because they had to perform the songs acapella. They did a brilliant job. The residents (and staff!) all loved having the children along to sing for them and there were plenty of smiling faces. Afterwards, the children took a few minutes to read their books to the residents. It was a great experience for the children and we were so proud of them. One of the residents said: 'Aren't these children wonderful' and we couldn't agree more!
