Thank you to everyone for all their support this term! It has been so lovely to have the children in school, learning and enjoying themselves. We know what a challenge coronavirus has presented to so many of our families in so many ways, and we have been proud to be able to do our bit to give our children a bit of normality!
Over the last couple of weeks, children throughout school have been enjoying Christmas parties and in Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage, classes have been filming their nativities and Christmas plays to share with parents. These have been a joy to make and watch! Please let us know your thoughts if you are lucky enough to be able to see one!
For obvious reasons, the news pages have been quieter then usual this term. We have had very few visitors in school and no trips out. But that does not mean the children have not had a fantastic time, filled with enriching learning experiences. This term, Year 5 have enjoyed some African drumming, Year 3 have made some beautiful Christmas music, Year 4 have been learning guitar and Key Stage 1 have enjoyed a medieval/Christmas banquet, to name just a few of the events that have happened. This is alongside all the learning and fun that takes place on a daily basis as part of our exciting curriculum.
We have loved seeing the children's smiling faces each and every day this term! Have a great Christmas break and a happy new year, and we will look forward to seeing you all again in the new year, when we will kick off 2021 in style with 'Art Week'!
