Last Friday, we were delighted to be asked to sing at the Garforth Lights switch-on event. We took a choir of 25 children along to sing, who had been working really hard in school to learn a range of Christmas Carols. We sang along with Garforth Brass to O Little Town of Bethlehem, Silent Night and various others. The children also sang a completely acapella 'Love Shone Down'. We were so proud of the children. It must have been daunting to stand on the stage and see all those faces watching them, but they sang their hearts out, smiled for the audience and looked tremendous in their Christmas jumpers, Santa hats, reindeer antlers etc...
As ever, our children represented our school fantastically. Thank you to the organisers for asking the children to sing, and for giving them all a selection box as thanks. Thanks too, to Garforth Brass for working with us.
