It's been a great start to 2018! All the children have come back to school with a great attitude and are working hard.
On Thursday 4th, Years 3 and 4 visited the West Yorkshire Playhouse for a performance of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. Staff and children came back with rave reviews and the children have produced some very good work as a result. We were particularly proud that member of theatre staff commented to one of our staff about the excellent behaviour of our children.
This week also ended with some exciting news. One of our Y6 children, Olivia, won a competition organised by Manning Stainton Estate Agents involving all the local schools to design a dream house. Olivia won a Samsung Galaxy tablet for herself, and £500 for the school. Well done Olivia, and thanks!
