Two of our Year 1/2 classes, 2MC and 1/2CE, had their Inspire events at the end of January and beginning of February. The focus was on phonics, with the teachers modelling a Sounds Write lesson and then giving parents an opportunity to read with their children, using some of the techniques and phrases they had learned in the model lesson.
We were so grateful that so many parents, carers and grandparents were able to attend. As usual, the feedback was uniformly positive. A small sample of the comments can be read here.
