On Wednesday afternoon, six Y5/6 girls took part in a football tournament at 'Football World'. We had three matches in our group. The first ended with a 2-2 draw and we won our second game 3-2. This meant a draw in the final match against Allerton would have seen us win our group and go into the semi-finals. Unfortunately, the game ended in a narrow 2-1 defeat. Allerton went on to be overall tournament winners, winning 3-0 in the semi-final and 2-0 in the final.
Well done to all the girls! You were fantastic ambassadors for our school. Not only that, but the progress some of you have made in your football has been really impressive!
