Like everyone, we have been grateful to be able to return to something much more like normality this year. Thank you to all members of our school community for their calm and measured responses over the past two-and-a-half years of the coronavirus pandemic. We have been blessed with overwhelming support and a large number of kind, understanding and encouraging messages. As ever, Strawberry Fields Primary School can be proud of its children, families and staff.
We very much hope that school closures and home-learning are a thing of the past, but we are also aware Covid continues to be a reality within our community. Whilst testing is no longer mandatory, even for those who are symptomatic, the official advice remains that for children who have tested positive for Covid-19, they should self-isolate for three days from the onset of symptoms.
Our actions throughout have been guided by the official advice given by the government and the Department for Education, as well as the local authority.
Finally, please continue take care of yourselves and one another, especially those in our families and community who are most vulnerable.
