At Strawberry Fields Primary we offer a range of extended services for parents, including a breakfast club and an after school childcare club ('Blossoms'). Both clubs are staffed by employees of the school.
As a result of coronavirus, some of the procedures for these clubs has changed. Both clubs are in the hall. Please drop your child off and collect them from the rear hall doors on the Key Stage Two playground. The hall will be divided into four, and children will be divided into phase bubbles. Siblings will stay in their own phase bubble with children of their age, rather than with their brothers or sisters.
For breakfast club, parents can choose for their child to start at either 7.30 or 8.00 a.m. and a hot or cold breakfast is provided.
Blossoms runs from the end of the school day until 5.30 p.m. and a snack is provided.
At the beginning of the day, the children will be taken to their classes at 8.35. If the child's class does not start until later, due to our staggered starts, they will be able to wait in class and read a book or complete a task set by the teacher.
At the end of the day, children will remain in class and will be brought down to the hall for Blossoms at 3.30. Again, if their class finished earlier than this, they can remain in class with a book or a task.
Further information and an application form for both clubs can be found below.
Usually, we also run after school activity clubs which change each term and are provided by both school staff and specialist external coaches. There is usually a small charge for these clubs which run from the end of the school day until 4.15 p.m. Currently, in keeping with our coronavirus risk assessment, we are not running any additional after-school clubs other than Blossoms.
